Top equestrian line up for the Whitehead Vizard Wilton Horse Trials

Olympic Eventers William Fox-Pitt, Mary King, Tina Cook, Andrew Hoy, Mark Todd and Clayton and Lucinda Fredericks are topping the line up for the Whitehead Vizard Wilton Horse Trials which will be held in the beautiful grounds of the Wilton Estate near Salisbury, Wiltshire on 1st and 2nd August.

British medallists William Fox Pitt and Mary King won team silver at Athens in 2004 and team bronze in Beijing 2008 where Tina Cook won double bronze (individual and team).

Andrew Hoy has topped the world rankings and won three consecutive Olympic Gold Medals. He has been competing internationally for Australia since 1978.

New Zealand horseman Mark Todd won gold medals in Los Angeles in 1984 and Seoul in1988. As a member of New Zealand’s Eventing "Dream Team" he won gold medals at the World Championships in 1990 and 1998.

Completing the star line up are Clayton and Lucinda Fredericks, the Australian three-day event riders based in Devizes, Wiltshire, who won team silver in Beijing and are regular competitors at Wilton Horse Trials.

Other Wiltshire based riders to watch are Georgie Spence from Foxham, near Chippenham,Louisa Lockwood from Winterbourne Stoke, Vicky Brake from Salisbury and Chris King from Chippenham.
